Snorkelling Adventure Tour

The Champagne Reef in Dominica was rated by Caribbean Travel + Life Magazine as the #1 snorkelling site in the Caribbean. Dominica has also earned the reputation as one of the top dive destinations in the world. 

 

This tour explores the Best of Dominica's snorkeling sites. The adventure begins with a 25 minute drive to the The Champagne Reef where your snorkeling adventure begins. Be sure to carry along your underwater camera as you will want to capture memories of the kaleidoscope of corals you will see as you splurge. The geothermal gases in the area produce bubbles venting from the sea bed causing the area around to be warm which gives a feeling that you are swimming in a huge glass of bubbling champagne hence the name of the area “The Champagne Reef.”

 

Your snorkeling adventure continues as we head to the southern tip of the island to the Scotts Head Pinnacle snorkeling site. As we drive along the route you will be amazed by the breath taking bird’s eye view of the both the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean which you will realize is only separated by a road. A moderate 20 minute hike up a narrow track  is recommended for those with  strong legs who would like to get good snap of this amazing view.

 

We then head back to the city where we end the tour with a stop at the Botanical Gardens.
