The Papillote Experience

 

Not in the mood for hiking? Grab some friends or relax alone at the Papillote Wilderness Retreat and Spa.

 

The day begins with a 20 minute unforgettable scenic drive through the rainforest to the village of Trafalgar, located in the Roseau Valley. Three minutes into the drive you will feel a change in temperature as we move away from the warmth of the city. Along the way request as many stops as you like to take photos of the lush mountains and fresh flowing rivers. You will also catch a glimpse of small Caribbean community life. 

 

Arriving at the Papillote you will greeted with the smile of the friendly staff. Your  Papillote Experience starts now with a tour around the Tropical Garden. Learn about the collections of flowers to include aroids, begonias, bromeliads, gingers, heliconias and indigenous orchids.

 

Enjoy a refreshing bath under the waterfall and/or natural cold pool or if you prefer a warn soak, then relax in the volcano iguana pool which is ideal for soothing aching muscles and stress relief. 

 

Have fun chilling by the bar enjoying local juices and rum punches or move over to the outdoor to chill and dine on delicious local dishes, fresh fruits and vegetables while you overlook the breath-taking view of mountains and rivers.
