This tour starts with a 25 minute drive from the capital, Roseau into a small community called Point Mitchel where the Champagne Reef is located. At the Champaign reef, the geothermal gases produces bubbles venting from the sea bed causing the area to be warm. This gives a feeling that you are swimming in a huge glass of bubbling champagne hence the name of the area “Champagne.” 

 

The tour continues with a stop at the Botanical Gardens before heading to the Trafalgar Falls. 

 

Heading to the Trafalgar Twin Falls we take a scenic drive through the rain forest to village of Trafalgar. Along the route you will have the opportinuty to take pics of mountains and various flora. The Trafalgar Twin falls contains the mama and the papa falls. The mama falls is approximately 75ft while the papa falls stands tall at 125ft. You will have the option of a 15 minute moderate walk to the falls view point or continue an intermediate 5 -10 minute hike to the falls being careful when climbing rocks. A tour guide will be provided. 

This exciting tour climaxes with a natural hot pool bath before heading back to the city.
